During the summer, Tuesdays are match nights.
1.30pm to 3.30pm Just turn up and play. There are usually at least a few ladies who turn out no matter what the weather! Men are welcome too, but do seem to be outnumbered at the moment! Ladies' social tennis matches take place on some Wednesday afternoons during the summer, see fixtures page for details. 6.30pm onwards An informal collaboration of men's tennis, contact Darryl Griifin as per Saturday's 'Riff Raff' 6.15pm onwards (summer only) Mixed friendly matches, details on fixtures page,
10.15am to 12 noon Just turn up and play - numbers are variable, all standards welcome, but tennis is not taken too seriously by this group! Contact jo@nestontennis.co.uk. Great for social tennis in the summer, come down after the juniors have finished from about 7.00pm for some mixed social tennis. 10am to 12 noon Ladies only social tennis, very welcoming group, but please contact first to keep the numbers even, jo@nestontennis.co.uk. 3.30pm The 'Riff Raff'; I can't possible describe them, so in their own words: 'We are a male group, playing mostly doubles. Winning is important but only because the beer tastes better! The standard is probably best described as variable.
